LPC84X support in LPCxpresso

Hello,

LPC84X chips seem not supported in the latest version of LPCxpresso (v8.2.2 - Build 650).

Can you tell me if when a new version including support for these chips will be available ?

Development of LPCXpresso IDE ceased sometime ago and the product has been superseded by MCUXpresso IDE. LPC84x support is included in MCUXpresso IDE.

I have downloaded MCUxpresso meanwhile and my existing CM0/CM4 projects have compiled without any issue. Seems to work fine - Good news.

Great idea having dropped the (useless) licensing mechanism at last !

Info: it is currenlty impossible to get a new license number for LPCxpresso - broken link ! - One of my customers is currently stucked.

There have been issues with the http://lpcxpresso-activation.nxp.com site used for generating LPCXpresso IDE Free Edition activation codes recently. But these should have all been resolved as of earlier today. It is possible that it might take a few hours for DNS records to update around the internet for the new server that has been set up though.
