Content originally posted in LPCWare by Hansi on Sat Jul 12 08:19:28 MST 2014
Hi!

For a little project I wanted to use the LPCXpresso Board for the LPC11U24 (OM13066). After searching through my eval boards I found out, that I "only" have an mbed-LPC11U24 but not the larger LPCXpresso board.

My question is now: Can I use this little mbed board together with the LPCXpresso 7.2.0 IDE?

I'm aware that I could simply copy the compiled executable file to the simulated USB stick. But can I use the LPCXpresso to connect via USB and further JTAG/SWD, i.e. do debugging? Do I need any extra hardware or is it enough to plug in the USB cable?

Thanks
 Hansi

An OM13066 isn't so expensive and you don't risk to ruin your mbed board...

Note that you may need to the latest firmware..
http://mbed.org/handbook/Firmware-LPC1768-LPC11U24

For more information on CMSIS-DAP support in the LPCXpresso IDE, see:

http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/cmsis-dap-support

Also note that you will also need the mbed Windows USB serial drivers installed.

Regards,
LPCXpresso Support

Just connect it to your PC and start debugging and it will be found. If your debug session previously used a different debug probe, you will be shown an empty list of debug probes and you can "Search Again"
