Hi

I have occurrence of search error that not seen by previous IDE version.

Please see attached.

What this error and how to fix this?

Resource out of sync means that the file has been edited outside of lpcxpresso. You just need to refresh the file and/or project. (F5 or right-click and select Refresh from the menu)

Yes I have tried that and it still popping up error.

Even I build the project, no error report but then do search, it pop up error.

In 8.1.2 no error in search.

Suspect bug in the search routine.

Looking at your original screen capture, the files it is complaining about are those that are generated by the build (*.d and *.map files). This implies that after a build, LPCXpresso is not refreshing the project. How is your "Refresh Policy" configured? (on the C/C++ Build page of the project properties)

So it sounds like you see the issue with LPCXpresso IDE v8.1.4, but not with v8.1.2?

This makes no sense, as the front end IDE in these two versions are the same (the differences between these versions is in the underlying debug tools, unrelated to the IDE front end).

If you can't fix these via refreshing, I would suggest creating a new workspace, then import your projects across - and seeing if you still see the problem.

Yes vtw.433e I done that...no fix.
Clear and Build and then search again, still report error.

I will try create new workspace later on
