I am trying to get POWER DOWN mode work. According to UM (pic).

I am trying to make on a system that stays in PD mode and wakes up by an ext interrupt, does some activity and goes back to PD mode.

I set the SYS_PLL_PD bit high before __WFI() to make it enter PD mode (ie stop PLL).
When an interrupt is received, I turn it low in the ISR, then wait for PPL to stabilise by poling SYSPLLSTAT (to turn on PLL).

However this does not seem to work and once PLL is turned off it does not turn on again.

It would be really nice if someone could help out here on how to properly use PD mode of LPC11A14.

Rgds
Shashank
