Content originally posted in LPCWare by enzolazo on Fri May 23 18:14:07 MST 2014
Hello,

I am new to LPC boards and LPCXpresso. I am trying to program a simple example project to the LPC1788-32 Developer's kit board. I am following this tutorial: http://mc2.unl.edu/2013/10/04/lpcxpresso-hello-world-and-breadboard-led-blinking/#fn1-154

Unfortunately, I am getting this error message:

I have tried both USB ports of my Macbook Air and also an external 5V power source.
Additionally, as I have not found the information about which micro-USB board port I should connect to power/program the board, I have tried all possible combinations on the three micro-USB board ports (see image bellow)

I have no idea why it is not working. Is there need for installing any drivers? If not, what could I do to get this to work?

Thank you all,
Enzo

In fact, I downloaded Flash Magic and I was able to program the LCP1788 board. But I still can't program the board using the LCPXpresso software. Any idea?

But unfortunately, the User Manual only shows how to program using Flash Magic tool. And I do not see it informing about LPC-link. What would be that? Is it necessary for the programming step?
