Hello all.

I have LPCXpresso with LPC1769 MCU. Everything worked fine till today. Hours ago I watched the MCU's memory. Because I'm new to MCUs (programmers, toolchains, etc), I've searched for a faster way to get the register values. As I remember, I was playing with something like "smart update" in the "Memory" tab in the LPCXpresso. After touching these setting I am unable to use the LPCLink anymore. Here are the details:

1. I tried to recover the MCU's memory with Vector catch = true; No success.
2. Shorted the ISP pin and the Reset; I tried to use the LPCXpresso debugger after that (to flash it with working project). No success.
3. I've connected the UART pins and I've used FlashMagic to erase the memory of the MCU.
The way I got it working is something strange. First I set Vector catch = true; after the error messages I've got I stopped the debugging process and finally after that FlashMagic is able to find the MCU (blah!!!).
I've erased all of the memory.
4. With empty MCU's memory I tried to upload working project to the MCU. Unfortunately I still get errors.

Here are the error messages:

10: Could not start execution from stop
  10: Could not start execution from stop
  Bad ACK returned from status - wire error.
  15: Target error from Register access
  Cannot access core regs when target running.

Next I try to "Run" the proccess (without stepping):
First error message:

Target request failed: Remote failure reply: E22.

Second message (comes together with the previous one).

15: Target error from Register access
  15: Target error from Register access
  Cannot access core regs when target running.

If I use Vector catch = true, I am getting this error message

Error launching (project name.axf)
02: Failed on connect: Ep(01). Target marked as not debuggable.:

Any ideas are very welcome!

I just figured out what was the problem.
In the lower left window of LPCXpresso there are several tabs:
Quickstart Panel, RedChannel, Variables and Breakpoints.

In the last one - Breakpoints - I found the memory locations which I used today. After clearing them I needed to reset the MCU with grounding the ISP pin, reset, upload the project with Vector catch = true. Now everything works fine.
