Hi all!
Please help me with a problem.
I'm trying to use LPCXpresso 1769 and Base Board from EmbeddedArtists. I've installed LPCXpresso IDE v3.8.3 on Linux openSUSE 11.2 (kernel 2.6.31.14-0.8-default). It runs OK, but I cannot debug any sample project. When I click on debug, it gives me error message:

Error launching Debug/demo.axf
putpkt: write failed: Broken pipe.:

But, I can flash the MCU by selecting "Binary Utilities / Program flash..." from context menu and it will work.
It looks like the known issue:

But I'm not sure because I use another board and slightly different chip.

Just tried this on another PC with 11.4. Fail again, but now it said:

Error launching Debug/demo.axf
Remote communication error: connection reset by peer.:

I still can flash the program, but not debug it as in the first case.
Of course I can try Ubuntu if this is 100% distro's problem, but it's more likely I'm doing something wrong, not OS.

I have the same problem with two machines, one Suse11.2-x64 and one on Suse 11.0

However, I come so far only if I start the IDE as root. As normal user, it fails initializing the lpc-link with a timeout message (it fails to download the LPCXpressoWin.enc, because of access rights issues for /dev/usb).

The same board work under Windows, so it' neither a hardware issue nor a problem
of a specific Suse release.
