Problems with PIO3_0 can't be set to DTR

Hi,
I am useing the LPC1114, I am wanting to use PIO3_0 as the DTR transmit enable pin. I am finding it isn't working correctly. I am setting,
LPC_IOCON->PIO3_0= 0x1; /* UART_DTR as direction control */
I am finding that in the debugger IOCON PIO3_0 2:0 is set to reserve, and I note that PIO3_0 is the only option in the pull down list, the other 3 are reserved.

I am wanting to use the UART in polling not interupt mode, do you have any other suggestions?

Obviously debugger doesn't show PIO3_0 / PIO3_1 DTR / DSR option :mad:

This doesn't mean that this mode isn't working, did you try it?

Otherwise you could also try to use DTR at PIO2_0 :)

It does appear that there are enumerations missing here in the peripheral register view for PIO3_0. and PIO3_1 We'll add these in a future LPCXpresso build.

Note that the peripheral view does show the actual register value, so in the case where an enumeration is missing - you can still decode things yourself.

Watch the upper bits in IOCON register - your setting is incorrect.
