Hi,

I have tried to install subclipse plugin, since the menu Help->Install New Software is available now, and I got this error.
This is the link I have used: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.6.x

An error occurred while installing the items
  session context was:(profile=profile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.provisional.p2.engine.phases.Install, operand=null --> [R]com.collabnet.subversion.merge 2.1.0, action=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.touchpoint.eclipse.actions.InstallBundleAction).
  Error while loading manipulator.
  Error while loading manipulator.

Any help?

Hi,

We have a fix for this issue and it will be in the next release of LPCXpresso. In the meantime, you can make the following changes to fix your current installation:

   1. Close LPCXpresso
2. Edit the file: <install>/eclipse/lpcxpresso.ini file

3. add the following 4 (four) lines BEFORE the existing content:

-startup
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715.jar
--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.0.200.v20090519

4. Save and close the file
5. Start LPCXpresso and try installing the software again.

This is how my lpcxpresso.ini got:

-startup
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v2009071 5.jar
--launcher.library
plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.0.2 00.v20090519
--launcher.XXMaxPermSize
256M
-vmargs
-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.5
-Xms40m
-Xmx256m

And with that I got this error, and it doesn't run:

The Lpcxpresso executable launcher was unbale to locate its companion shared library.

Then I searched in the plugin directory to see if I could find
org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v2009071 5.jar -> I found, but the name is org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715.jar with the space before the number 5.
org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86_1.0.2 00.v20090519 I could find.

So I changed the line plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v2009071 5.jar to plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715.jar

And still got the same error. I think it is because I don't have the second file...

So, I change back to my original ini to keep working.

Hi,

I'm sorry, something seems to have gone wrong in the cut/paste. Instead I attach a zipped copy the file, which you can unzip and replace the existing lpcxpresso.ini
