    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Content originally posted in LPCWare by Mark_O on Tue Aug 31 00:53:22 MST 2010&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In the NXP Data Sheet for the LPC176x family processors of Feb/2009 there were extensive charts of Peripheral Current Consumption requirements.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately, all the entries were empty, and populated with &amp;lt;TBD&amp;gt;.&amp;nbsp; See Table 7, Page 45.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When the Dec/2009 Data Sheet was released, all these tables were gone, and the only Power Requirements listed were for the Core, in the Static Characteristics table.&amp;nbsp; And these stats specifically indicate "With all peripherals disabled".&amp;nbsp; Since disabling all the peripherals makes the MCU pretty useless, this is a strange oversight.&amp;nbsp; Knowing that the chip pulls 67 mA at 100 MHz, with all peripherals turned off isn't very useful.&amp;nbsp; Surprisingly, the User Manual for the LPC176x family has no Power information at all.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I just downloaded the latest, July16'10 Data Sheet, and there's nothing there either, that I can see.&amp;nbsp; Does NXP now have data on Peripheral Current Consumption, that perhaps simply hasn't made it into the Data Sheets?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- Mark&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
