I tried to get into ISP mode and the vector catch , same problem.
even after erasing the flash with flash magic the process still hangs on the same line.
I tried to create a new workspace then loaded the example projects.
still the same !!
any hint please/

Either your code is faulty or your PLL source (crystal?) is damaged

You could try to start your LPC without PLL in IRC :)

I switcher to the IRC and now I'm able to get over the wait condition. but I still don't understand how my crystal can be damaged !

I changed #define SYSPLLCLKSEL_Val to 0x00000000. do I need to modify other defines to get the system work correctly. cause the timer is running too fast which make me think that I still miss something in the config file.
thanks in advance
