    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Content originally posted in LPCWare by robert.palmer on Fri Aug 31 06:24:42 MST 2012&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm having trouble with the LPCLink drivers, I can get it working, but only after some manual exercises.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;My configuration is: WinXP SP2&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there a document somewhere that describes&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- which driver should load (HID or WINUSB)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- should it be automatic or should it be manual driver selection&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- when/why might I want or need to switch between drivers&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- whats the difference between the HID and WINUSB driver&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- what causes the DFU to execute and change the device to LPCLink in device manager&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- what devices should I see under device manager at what point&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have figured out that I can manually execute the DFU from the command line and then I can only see the device under the HID driver.&amp;nbsp; At this point, I can get LPCxpresso to work.&amp;nbsp; But I don't understand why I can't get it to work automatically.&amp;nbsp; Some of the documents seem to indicate that WinXP should be using WINUSB.&amp;nbsp; What's the difference between the drivers?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've searched all over the forums and code red's web site and embedded artists web site.&amp;nbsp; I've found many little bits and pieces, but I can't seem to find a single document that describes everything.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
