What part are you connecting to? [I presume an LPC11/12/13 or 17, where as per the release notes the flash driver mechanism has changed].

Also, does deleting the debug launch configuration and allowing the tools to automatically recreate help?

I can't reproduce the problem here (ie the flash driver is found). Do you see the problem if you create a completely fresh project there?

One thing I have noticed is that it looks from your debug log like you have used the memory configuration editor for this particular project - correct? Please can you try deleting the Debug (and Release) subdirectories within this project, so that the tool recreates all of the memory config related files when it rebuilds.

After doing this, does the download to flash work?

Yes, to reserve the RAM used by the ROM utility functions (CAN drivers).

I deleted these directories, then it would not build until I also deleted .metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.cdt.core\BVM2.1366313103012.pdom - It would be great if [B]clean[/B] really cleaned all this intermediate junk instead of forcing me to muck with this !

And after all this, still same result, can't program, I'm back to 5.1.2 which works...

In the meantime, you ought to be able to solve this issue with this particular project by manually adding the required flash driver ([FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2]LPC11_12_13_32K_8K.cfx[/SIZE][/FONT]) manually to the flash driver field of the memory config editor (in MCU page of Project Properties).

Note - creating a new project for LPC11C using the New project wizard ought to take you about 30 seconds tops to do.

As an aside, and for the future reference of others who might come across this thread - Zero made an useful summary post on reserving RAM for the CAN drivers ...

If you don't want to link with the CMSIS library project, why don't you just select "None" from the library selection dropdown???
