Once the data is sent from device to host using VCOM_bulk_in_hdlr, will the device wait for ACK from the host?

I have a situation where for the first read request from the host, the data is sent and received at the host. Immedietly if I send the second read request from the host, no operation happens at device. Also, if I try to generate interrupts from other IOs no interrupts get generated after first data transfer to host. Hence Hardfault was occuring. Hence device was not working after first data transmission.
