Here are the details:

LPCXpresso Base Board
The LPCXpresso base board is ideal when you need to do prototyping work or when you wish to learn more about the Cortex-M0 and Cortex-M3 microcontrollers. It works with the LPCXpresso boards (LPC1114 and LPC1343) and with the mbed module (LPC1768).The base board is loaded with different peripheral units with connectivity and inputs that includes an OLED display, accelerometer and light sensors, joystick and connector to optional wireless module.
The network connectivity includes XBee support and ethernet (only mbed), and there’s an SD/MMC card socket and SPI-Flash, I2C port expander and a CAN interface (mbed). The board measures 150 x 180 mm and is powered through a USB connector. There are also plenty of other things like push-buttons and rotary switch.
To make it very easy to get started, many sample applications have been developed like:

•Rotary switch controls 7-segment display
•Reading and writing to EEPROM
•Joystick controlling LEDs (PCA9532)
•Listing content on a FAT formatted MMC/SD card
•Values from light sensor, temperature sensor, accelerometer and trim potentiometer are written to the OLED display
•Joystick controlling RGB LED
•Speaker - Playing tones
•Speaker - Playing WAV file
•Reading and writing to SPI-Flash
•Reading from UART1 and writing to UART2 (and vice versa)
•Trying to contact an XBee module. Result printed on OLED display
•Values from the BNC is written to the OLED display
•NXP's USB Mass Storage Device example
•NXP's UROM based SB Mass Storage Device example
•NXP's USB HID example
•NXP's ROM based USB HID example

LPCXpresso Value Pack
Embedded Artists offers an LPCXpresso Value Pack comprising:

LPCXpresso is now available for Linux- the installer can be downloaded from www.code-red-tech.com/lpcxpresso after creating a free account.
