Both restart the LPC1114-302 microcontoller.
But is there any differences between them?

With a full power on reset (POR) as we call it you're absolutely sure all the registers and RAM content will be cleared/set-to-default.

ARM software reset (NVIC_Systemreset) and POR (power on reset) behaves in the same way.
