Hi!
I would drive a display 4,3" 480 x 272 (RGB interface)with LPC1768 ; is there any example of it?
I know that LPC1788 has integrated lcd driver, but if I want 1768 , can I drive it?

The MCB1700 of Keil is equipped with an LCD screen (320 * 240) ... you may get new ideas by reading their information.

As NXP mentionned, any SW example should get you 90% towards your goal since the code is mostly generic to any TFT LCD. Afterwards, you just need to adjust the timing for your specific display and wiring it up accordingly (supplying the appropriate voltage for the backlight).

Thank you very much, but MCB1700 drive LCD in SPI mode...

Your main challenge is to initialize the display properly. If you don't have example code for your particular display, you need to get the init sequence from the controller chip data sheet.

Embedded Artists has a 480x272 4.3"LCD board for their new LPC1788 ... if you purchase it you can (I believe) access some initialisation and sample code for it. Check if it is the same controller or model, though, since there are a number of variations on these displays ... 16-bit, 24-bit, etc. All the work on the SW side is the init sequence and setting up the SDRAM for the framebuffer if the LCD doesn't have a built in controller ... the only real problem on the HW side is usually setting up the backlight with a stable supply if it's a wierd voltage.
