Hello,

I can not program using the LPC-Link 2 LPC4088 and LPC1768 in LPCXpresso v7.3.0 [Build 186] - Linux version, Under the windows version working properly. When I want to program the LPC4088 using crt_emu_cm_redlink -flash-load-exec "/home/badman/Programowanie/LPC4088/NOR_FLASH/Debug/NOR_FLASH.axf" -g -2 -vendor=NXP -pLPC4078 -flash-driver=LPC177x_8x_407x_8x_512.cfx have the message:

What distribution/version of Linux are you using? I presume you follow the install instructions in the User Guide or FAQ at:

http://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/linux-installation

That aside, I see you are using your LPC-Link2 via CMSIS-DAP. It would be interesting to know if you see the same behaviour when using in 'Redlink' mode. This can be accomplished by removing the link from JP1:

http://www.lpcware.com/lpclink2

...and using the boot-link2 script provided in the product.

So, what happens when you run boot-link2?

Also, please run lsusb instead of dmsg.

I think I deleted the USB DFU in LPC-Link 2. When no jumper on JP1 or jumper on JP1 in the LPC_Link2_Config_tool still NO_CONN :(

Is it possible to re-program the LPC-Link 2 to USB DFU ?

Do not use dfusec. Once you have removed the jumper, either let the IDE boot it for you, automatically, or from the command line run boot-link2. You do not need to use windows to do this...

I missed the beginning of libusb 32 bit:
[root@localhost bin]# ./boot_link2
Looking for DFU devices...
/usr/local/lpcxpresso_7.3.0_186/lpcxpresso/bin/dfu-util: error while loading shared libraries: libusb-0.1.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
No bootable LPC-Link2 found

When I installed it:

Now that you have correctly installed the product, as described in the user guide, you should be able to run the product as intended. You do not need to use the command line utilities to boot the lpc-link2 - you can just run the IDE and it will automatically boot it, if required.

I suggest that, to get started, you follow the simple tutorial in the user guide.

Important Note:
You should not run LPCXpresso as root. It is not required and may well cause problems.

I don't understand the question. Flash is just memory in the address map.

FlashMagic allows read any section of flash and save as an intel hex file. This can be done by using LPC-Link 2 ?

You can do this through the debugger. Open a memory view onto the memory you wish to save, and then press the Export button in the memory view toolbar. We do not provide any other way to do this through LPC-Link2.
