I've already looked at the app note. But I don't understand how I can send and receive TCP strings.

Is there a easy way to do this? Maybe an idea where I can look at those funtions?

Thanks!

Content originally posted in LPCWare by markustmaier on Tue Sep 11 09:25:16 MST 2012
Hello,

I'm looking for an easy implementation of a TCP/IP stack for the LPCxpresso LPC1769 and Baseboard from Embedded Artists. I aim to use simple TCP send and receive commands to communicate with a motor controller.

I have to communicate with three of these motor controllers, so I should be able to open three different connections. The commands are realy simple like "HORM".

Which stack is the best for this application? Speed is not a issue. Which stack can be understand easier?
- lwIP
- uIP
- EasyWeb

Is there anybody who has source code for one of these stacks? I'm new to ethernet and I like to have two little functions: TCP_Send and TCP_Receive where I can send and receive strings via TCP. There is enough to do with the coding of the other parts, so the ethernet part should be as easy as possible.

Thanks!

Markus

To send / receive data it's useful to understand what TCP is and how it works. So it can be useful to read TCP parts of EasyWeb. If you are looking for a simple way, try mbed :)
