Debugging the LPC1837 Xplorer board project

Hi,

I have compiled the source for the LPC1837 Xplorer board and want to go through the exercise of loading the code onto the target board and to debug with it.

This makes me realize that I know even less than I thought I did.

How are the three projects combined into one debug image? ...and how do you debug? Everything I have tried ends up with "Launch failed. Binary not found".

I have been trying procedures similar to what worked with the Binkey example, but it looks like something different needs to be done here.

Tips and perhaps a link to pertinent documentation would be appreciated.

Looks like you are using LPCxpresso,but can you please confirm?

Can also let forum know which s/w example are you trying?

Hi,

It is the example that came with the Xplorer board. It has 3 projects that get loaded to the board.
Yes I am using LPCXpreso.

I think I have it.

I debugged the one with main() in it. Finally found the binary way down in the directory where the stuff was imported from. Huh? Why there? But it was. Was able to step and then run. The USB resource appeared on my PC when the code initialized it.

So I think it is working.

Now if I can figure out how to put the binarys in my project directory.

And to get them to show up in project explorer...
