Hi everone,

recently I bought one of those fantastic Motor Control Development Boards. I test the board with simple BLDC firmware and FOC binary firmware, both firmwares "work".

But the problem is in the GUI LPC1500, is anybody able to comunicate GUI soft with LPC1549? Board has two LEDs to debug TX and RX from FTDI that doesn't work in any case, it seems GUI soft send nothing.

GUI is v1.0.0 and binary v1.0

And .zip file with FOC firmware and GUI doesn't include Aplication Note, by the way.

Hi Marcos,
GUI does not work with BLDC firmware and works with PMSM firmware. Please download latest PMSM package from
http://www.nxp.com/documents/application_note/AN11517.zip.
It has application note AN11517. Please check page 19 and forward for serial connection with PC.

Hi, thanks for replying.

I already read all documentation (including Embedded Artist docs) and GUI still not working, TX and RX LEDs don't blink in any case. However, I used a terminal to send via COM port and I can see how RX LED blinks.

That's a pity =(

By other hand, I hope you upload FOC firmware project, like you did in BLDC.

Do you see the LED blinking on LPC14549 Xpresso board(Small plug in board)? What is the color?
Did you select COM port in GUI S/W?

GUI is just running. For any strange reason, TX pin on IC was shortcircuited. I realized testing a new LPC1549 board. Thank you!

Will you upload the FOC firmware project?
