If you create a new LPC13xx (12bit ADC) for LPC1317 CMSIS_CORE_LPC13Uxx is used.

That's the correct Lib for all new (=12bit ADC) chips....

However the project is now going to use an LPC1317. After loading and linking the CMSIS_CORE_LPC13xx, I find the names used are quite different. I am not using the USB hardware, and was wondering if I can continue to use the LPC13Uxx library?

Regards, Ron

As you suggest, creating a new project in a new workspace for the '1317 automatically links the 13U library. I can now continue with confidence.
Regards, Ron
