Since I am using gcc I wrote my own Makefile for it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem I am having is, that it will throw a Hard Fault, when accessing the net_if struct. I guess this has something to do with alignment, but I cant fix it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'll try to supply all info to get to the root of this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hard Fault happens here:&amp;lt;span class="inline inline-left"&amp;gt;&amp;lt;img class="image image-preview " src="&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.nxp.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lpcware.com%2Fsystem%2Ffiles%2Fimages%2Fhardflt.preview.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.lpcware.com/system/files/images/hardflt.preview.jpg&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;" border="0" alt="" title="" width="640" height="257" /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;The project is the LPCopen LPC17XX_40XX freeRTOS+LWIP example running on a LPC1778&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;Compliler is CodeSourcery GCC 4.5.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope this is enough to solve this.
