topic Embedded GUI for LPC1778/1788 in LPC Microcontrollers

Hello

For my commercial products I need to develop embedded GUI interface on TFT display with LPC1778/88. Since 2009 I’ve been using “EasyGui” from IBIS Solutions. This is an old software where I can draw graphical screens and export them as a group of files (.c and .h). These files must be added in my IAR project and then I can draw screens with a library of proprietary functions available in EasyGui.

Now I need a most modern interface and I need a software like EasyGui but I don’t know what to choose: I need a softare where I can draw GUI, export them for IAR, not expensive and a software compatible with all MCU and with my boards: probably I'm wrong, I have the impression that some IDEs are developed to work only with standard evaluation boards and not with proprietary cards.

I have 15 years of experience with EasyGui, learning it well was a long process and I’m sorry to start from beginning with a new tool, I search a solution simple to understand.

Best regards

Hi @lorenzogalbiati

I think you can use SEGGER emWin

We have app note for LPC1769/1788 walks through emWin basics, where to get NXP libraries/BSPs, and how to create your own GUI

AN11244 emWin startup guide

You can also use LVGL(GUI GUIder)

Create Modern Embedded GUIs Fasts | NXP Semiconductors
