Good day!

I am building a PCB with LPC55S2x and would like to know the hardware level specifics to make UART work? If for instance, FC0 UART is being used, then, is it simple as routing the two FC0 pins: RXD and TXD to a jumper from where a serial-usb bridge is used to connect to the PC? Do RX and TX lines need any resistors on their path? In EVK-LPC55S2x schematics, I see FC0_USART_RXD connecting to a 100 ohm resistor, so wanted some clarification.

Thanks.
