Hello,

I have the LPCXpresso54S018 and i am trying to implement the OM13790 Dock board in order to run the usb_pd_alt_mode_dp_dock program.

I am running into two problems.

1. I am unsure how to update the drivers on the OM13790 Board. The board i am using is the Shield_Dock-Rev-2.0 that is the Green PCB. where, i nthe getting started document. it has the new updated red PCB. Do i use the Type-C connection to update the PCB?

2. are the LPCXpresso54S018 & the OM13790 able to pair? i wasnt able to find an SDK package for this pair. i was only able to find that the OM13790 has an SDK package with the non S version (LPCXpresso54018)

Hello @hlmc

Thanks for your question.

For USB part, there is no difference between LPC54s018 and LPC54018. So you can use the SDK for LPCxpresso54018 to LPCxpresso54s018. About your first question, how about refer to https://www.nxp.com.cn/docs/en/user-guide/UM11056.pdf and readme under SDK demo package.

\SDK_2_8_2_LPCXpresso54018-OM13790DOCK.zip\boards\lpcxpresso54018_om13790dock\usb_examples\usb_pd\bm

Does this imply a jumper cable between J6-8 and J9-1? on the user guide that you posted, there is no reference of doing this.

When I try to run the program on the IDE this is the message that i am getting
