    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;First of all, the LPC553x have ETM module and support trace function.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But the trace function requires dedicated hardware device and software tools, pls refer to the an14330.pdf, which I attached. Although it focuses on the i.mxrt, it also adapts to LPC family.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>LPC55S36 ETM Trace with IAR</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How does one utilize ETM trace debugging on the LPC55S36?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have activated the 5 pins P1_1, P0_24, P0_28, P0_29 and P0_30 with mode 5 and 6 resp. to activate the outputs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have experimented with Debugger, I-JET settings under Trace, but nothing really seems to activate the icon during debugging.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What am I missing?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
