[LPC55S36] I2S examples codec_init failed.

Welcome, im new to MCU.

When i run I2S examples (i2s_dma_transfer and i2s_interrupt_transfer) terminal prints:

Configure codec
codec_Init failed!
ASSERT ERROR " i2s_dma_transfer.c:228 : false

I have 1-2 connected on JP3, like example says to do.

Should it initalise without any cables connected?

Where its make digital loopback, USB or audio jack?

What cables i should connect to make it work?

Hi,

If you run the ..5636_i2s_dma_transfer example, this is board configuration:

Board settings
==============
Short JP50 1-2,JP53 1-2
 
Pls check if the jumper configuration is correct.

Thanks that worked. How i can make it so that, sound goes to jack output? Do i need to change playsource in wm8904_config_t?
