Differences between Release and Debug

Hi,

I was using the MCUXpresso IDE.where I used the Release and Debug option in the MCUXpresso IDE.Where I was unable to find what is the differences of this option.Please kindly reply what is the need of this option.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well. By default, MCUXpresso IDE projects automatically have two build configurations, Debug and Release. Typically, a project is developed using the Debug build variant, but switched to Release late in the development cycle to benefit from more compilation optimizations.

For specific information about any project, please check each Build Configuration.

Thanks for a given a differences between Release and Debug.But when compile the project in Release state.The Console mentioned the error in the Header file.For Eg Fatal error in the Header file.But in Debug compilation the project didn't shows the error in the Project.

Are you using a SDK example? What SDK version are you using? What MCUXpresso IDE version are you using?
