Can anyone help me with a sample program to make the RS485 up and running on the LPC1769 (OM11083 base board)? I tried couple of sample programs but nothing worked :(. I am trying to communicate between the baseboard RS485 terminal and my laptop. I am using a RS485-USB converter cable for testing this.

Then configure the corresponding pin for UART direction control function and connect to the RS485 transceiver.

Thats all for RS485. The rest is just normal UART operation.
