LPC55S28 SDK composite_cdc_vcom_cdc_vcom_freertos

I'm running the LPC55S28 SDK composite_cdc_vcom_cdc_vcom_freertos sample code. I'd like to change the naming of the VCOM ports. It looks like the PC has the following Device friendly Names for the 2 ports, "USB Serial Device" and "Virtual Com Port" I am assuming these names come from the SDK sample code, but I can not find where this is defined or setup in the code.

Does someone know where this is or how I can alter the names form the eval board software?

Hello @mschmid,

In the example, before the driver is updated you will have the device named after USBDeviceString2 in usb_device_descriptor.c. You could look the device named like the USBDeviceString2 in the readme Step 1., before doing the Update.
