topic LPC not programming correctly in LPC Microcontrollers

I've got some LPC1751 parts that aren't programming correctly. We're programming them with a J-link using the hex files. They go through all the hoops of programming (including verification) but hang as they start up doing nothing at all. The good parts, using the same procedures and things, work fine. The bad parts are being sourced in China, the good ones from US disty channels.

Attached are pictures of the top side of the parts. I can't see what issue there would be here...

Anyone from NXP willing to take a stab at this?

Hi randylee

If your part is not purchased from official disty, we can't guarentee if the part is real or counterfeit. We only support part from official disty.

Thanks,

Jun Zhang

This was China disty from what the board CM has to tell about it. Of course, it's hard to tell exactly at this distance.

If we shipped someone at NXP the bad parts, can NXP tell if those are real or not? Would that give NXP any data that is of interest to you?
