Hi,

According to UM11126:

In the LPC55S6x, the PowerQuad uses SRAM Bank 4 (16kB at 0x2004 0000 to 3FFF
or 0x3004 0000 to 3FFF depending on the Secured or Non Secured Configuration) for
scratch pad.

However there is no SRAM4 on 144KB devices:

RAM Total	RAM-X (KB)	RAM0 (KB)	RAM1 (KB)	RAM2 (KB)	RAM3 (KB)	RAM4 (KB)	USB-RAM (KB)
144 KB devices	32	64	32	-	-	-	16

So does PowerQuad works on this part ?

Hi,

I see that the LPC55S66 has just 144K SRAM and does not have RAM4 memory.

I will ask the AE team if the PowerQuad can work without RAM4 module. Pls be patient.

Hi,

This is the AE team reply:

"PQ can work with LPC55S66. The use of RAM4 is optional, if using RAM4, QR can reach best performance, with PQ can also use other RAM area.

It means that the PowerQuad of LPC55S66 can work without RAM4 module.

Could you give me more detail:

What's the performance difference if RAM4 is not used ?
How to use other RAM area ? I haven't found any information in reference manual and in kSDK.
