Is there a way to have one of the LPC5526 counters available during any of the low power modes?

We would like to increment a counter with an external pulse while the LPC is in a low power mode.

Thanks

Hi @jtauch1

On your user manual UM11126, Chapter 13.2.3 Power Modes you have the functionality of the MCU between each low power mode. On Deep-Sleep Mode the counter/timers can be left running.

Let me know if you have another question.

Best Regards, Miguel.

Hi Miguel,

Thanks for the reply. Are there any appnotes that cover setting up a CTIMER to use an external IO for a clock? I think there is enough in the manual to figure it out, but if you know of something please place a link here.

It does look like the CTIMERS are available in deep-sleep.

Thanks,

John
