&lt;P&gt;With the CRP you still are able to erase the flash memory, if you want to erase it, you could refer to the Application note "Building an I3C Network using LPC553x/LPC55S3x" section 4.3.1. You can find the application note in this &lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-microcontrollers/general-purpose-mcus/lpc5500-cortex-m33/lpc553x-s3x-advanced-analog-armcortex-m33-based-mcu-family:LPC553x" target="_self"&gt;link&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The processor LPC5536 supports 5 different CRP levels, which are not re-settable.
