Hello, we use the Kinetis flash tool in order to upgrade our application on an LPC55S69.

We put the device into ISP mode, and connect it over USB HID and it works perfectly fine and I am able to connect to the device and upgrade on my personal computer. See this image:

Now, we have another computer, we try the same method and the device is not able to connect at all. With a general connection error, see this image:

I've been digging around, my guess that there seems to be just a simple Windows driver issue, where the MCU is not being recognized correctly when the device is in ISP mode on the computer where the upgrade is not working.

This is a screen shot from the working computer, the device shows up as a "HID-compliant vendor-defined device" which makes sense.

On the computer where I can't get the flash tool to work, it is showing up as an Unknown device,

I am hoping there is a simple Windows driver someone can point me to so I can connect and flash the tool when it is in ISP mode, can someone help me with that?

Is there anything else I should consider which might be the problem? Both computers are running Windows 11.

Let me know if anyone needs any more information.

Hey Alice, thanks we ended up just using a different computer and it worked fine. Not sure why we had so many issues on this particular computer but at this point we are just moving on, but thanks for a reply
