ISP on LPC55S28 using SPI on Flexcomm 3

We'd planned on using SPI on Flexcomm 3 for ISP but I've found a footnote in UM11126 - LPC55S6x/LPC55S2x/LPC552x User manual in Table 176 on page 141 that says "SPI ISP mode on Flexcomm 3 is supported on device revision A0 only." I haven't been able corroborate that statement with another document. Other documents suggest that ISP can be performed on either Flexcomm 3 or SPI_HS. It would be really advantageous if we could implement the SPI on Flexcomm 3. Can someone corroborate or contradict the assertion that SPI on Flexcomm 3 cannot be used on devices with revision newer than A0?

Hi @WilliamW,

I'm afraid the RM is correct.

For revision A0 of the LPC55S69, two SPI modules are supported in ISP mode: FC3 and HS_SPI.
However, for revision 1B, only HS_SPI supports it.

This is also the case for the LPC55S28.
