Is IEC60730 Software Safety Library Compatible With LPC5536 Chip?

IEC 60730 Safety Standard for Household Appliances | NXP Semiconductors

This link specifies that LPC55xx family is supported by IEC60730B Software Safety library.

However, in MCUXpresso SDK builder, while importing this library to LPC5536 chip, the disclaimer says the library only supports LPC55Sxx secure chip family.

So Can we use this software safety library for LPC5536 chip? If not, is there any other software safety library compatible with this chip?

Hi @harshp!

The IEC60730B Safety library is supported by the LPC5536.

I am not sure why you see this message when building the SDK for this specific chip; I will check this with the SDK team.

However, you can instead build the SDK for the LPCXpresso55S36 evaluation board, since this board supports your LPC5536. You will not see the disclaimer message when doing this.
