Hello,
we wanted to use LPC54608 but we need more RAM and we can't use SDRAM(EMC), we need the other pin functions.

That's why we want to connect the external RAM is through SPIFI.
At startup the firmware configures the SPIFI to command mode. Copies the data from the USB or SPI to the SPIFI Ram and executes it from there.

Are there any problems with this configuration?

LPC540xx can support SPIFI boot ( Boot from QSPI NOR flash device connected to SPIFI interface. ), but LPC54608 doesn't support.

The available boot source for LPC546xx is as below:

User needs to access SPIFI device from internal Flash.
