We are working on one of our clients Project in which we used LPC54016JBD208E Microcontroller part.

When we boot our board from the secondary boot loader at that time we are not able to get the response from USB. After 3-4 retry we are getting the response from USB.

It describes the proper initialization and usage of a USB secondary bootloader for the LPC11u68. Even though this is not your P/N, I believe that the post will prove to be very insightful for the LPC540xx’s case as well.
