Flashing a user program LPC-LINK2 from other LPC-LINK2

I am using one LPC-LINK2 (as debug probe) and another LPC-LINK2(as target) on MCUexpress. My program is running fine, I can program the target from debugging probe via MCUexpress easily. I want to flash the program .bin file into target FLASH using the debug probe so that i can boot my target with the program .bin file without debugging probe. I have searched exhaustively but am unable to find any example or webpage.

There is GUI flashing utility in MCUexpress but requires a lot of parameters like addresses, scripts etc, kindly suggest a simple way.

Kindly guide.

Hello ,

The addresses, scripts are necessary, there is no internal flash with lpc4370, it can't program to

external flash without the detail information you said.

Can you please simply tell a way to program a LPC-LINK2 from another so that the program boots at power ON.

Even if it requires the address, what should be the address, can it be explained in detail. My application is running reasonably well, is it wise to invest months to understand what you perhaps already know. So i request to explain a way to program LPC-LINK2 target from another LPC-LINK2 debug probe.

The better way is use GUI Flash tool of MCUXpresso IDE.

1. CMSIS-DAP: requires a script and flash driver, where toget these?

2. P & E probe

3. SEGGER J-KINK probe?

what are the settings to be used for option 1 & 2?

Hello maneesh_pawar,

Just config it as below when use CMSIS-DAP probe.

Pay attention, LPC-LINK doesn't support P&E debug probe, only support CMSIS-DAP and JLINK.
