It's trap, I gues, to make things complicated and befuddle the user. I entered this dialog by right clicking the "MCU" entry in Project Explorer and selecting "Edit MCU". I assume that most of the times when changing MCUs you'd want to update the memory configuration.

Hi, I have a project with LPC55S69JBD100 that works fine. But with the current supply chain issue, the part has a very long lead time. We are remaking the hardware to LPCS66JEV98. I changed the MCU on the project setting and the package changed as well. However, when I compile I still see the summary as:

Memory region Used Size Region Size %age Used
PROGRAM_FLASH: 129432 B 608 KB 20.79%
SRAM: 64336 B 256 KB 24.54%
SRAM4: 0 GB 16 KB 0.00%
SRAMX: 0 GB 32 KB 0.00%
USB_RAM: 0 GB 16 KB 0.00%

I did not change the memory setting, as it is using the LPC55xx.cfx as driver. But I would imaging I need to change the range of the flash and SRAM. I could not find where I should change the range to.

Thanks,

Huiji

Hello ,

Uncheck the "Preserve memory configuration" when chaneg MCU:

Now based on your project, if it already lpc55s66, please first change back to lpc55s69, then try again.

Hope it helps,
