Hi all,

I have run into an issue with my LCP55S06-EVK board. While I have my board plugged up to my computer, I can build and debug my code, and my board runs the code perfectly. However, as soon as a stop the debug, my board stops running the code. It's as if if just gets stuck in the state in which it was when I stopped the debug. Also, upon unplugging my board from the computer and plugging it back in, the code does not run at all.

This is a very frustrating problem, and I would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Does you code use semihosting? If so, you need a debugger attached for it to run. See these FAQs

https://guest.eu.guestline.app/DUMBLETON?reservationNumber=BK001555/1&familyName=Morris

https://community.nxp.com/t5/LPCXpresso-IDE-FAQs/What-are-none-nohost-and-semihost-libraries/m-p/475327

Thanks for the solution! I had to use the NewLib (semihost).
