Hi. I'm trying to run an LPC1787 off of a carrier board and am having trouble connecting to it through MCUXpresso via J-Link. I have the following pins connected:

Vss - pin 32

Vdd - pin 26

Reset - pin 35

SWCLK - pin 10

SWDIO - pin 6

A similar configuration works with other LPC chips so I know it's not an issue with the J-Link. I do have the User Guide and the Data Sheet for this chip, but I don't see sections that cover minimal configurations.

I also tried lpc21isp, after resetting the chip and taking P2[10] low to put the chip into ISP mode, but lpc21isp couldn't detect the chip. Any guidance toward reaching minimal operation would be appreciated.

Aaron

Hi Aaron

Regarding to LPC1787FBD208 minimum hardware, we need provide power supply and design SWD or Jtag interface.

If your power supply is correct, make sure your debug interface is well designed. refer this article:

Have a nice day,
