topic LIN Master Mode Break generation in LPC Microcontrollers

The Manual said:

My questions are:

1. In LIN master mode, the break signal is not continuous, and after 13 bit time, tx pin will restore to high automatically, is this right?

2. In LIN master mode, if DELTARXBRK interrupt is enabled, there will be 2 times interrupt, first is after 11 bit time from the TXBRKEN is set, second is after 13 bit time when tx pin restore to high. Is this right?

Thank you!

Hi,

1. Yes, that is correct.

2. If you enable DELTARXBRKEN then you can check you can check UART_STAT[DELTARXBRK] and UART_STAT[RXBRK] when LIN break happens. This will be after RX input remains low for 11 bit.

In addition I recommend you to check the following community document from a colleague that provides an example of using LIN master in LPC546x MCUs.

LPC54608 LIN master basic usage sharing - NXP Community

Hope it helps.

Best regards,

Felipe
