How to start executing the user code on LPC546xx in bootloader mode?

When the LPC546x boots up in USB1 DFU mode, will it jump to the user code after a time out

if no USB connection is made or do the boot ISP config pins need to be set up to ‘No ISP’ mode

first and a CPU reset in order to start the user code?

It won't jump to the application when the MCU has already entered the ISP mode.
