RTC Operation in power down mode in LPC546xx Microcontroller

Hi,

I have a query regarding operation of RTC in LPC546. I want to know whether the RTC counter register (COUNT) will keep on updating or not in device power down mode (i.e no VDD only VBAT). The datasheet mentions that the . RTC module and the oscillator that drives it, runs directly from the device power pins. Does this means that the RTC counter won't be updated in device power down mode(i.e when only Vbat is present).

I have attached the sceenshot of the datasheet for reference.

You are right, the RTC counter register (COUNT) will keep on updating in device power down mode (i.e no VDD only VBAT).
