SPIFI Example for LPCXpresso4367

Hi,

I'm trying to test the SPIFI example (spifi_tst) for the LPCXpresso4367 (OM13088) which is part of lpcopen 3.02 (lpcopen_3_02_keil_iar_xpresso4337).

I am using IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM (v8.22.2.15996).

When testing the example the SPIFI memory never gets populated, it always read back as 0. I checked the pins with a scope and it appears that data is being sent and SCLK is 12MHz.

I did have to comment out the _STD_BEGIN and _STD_END lines of retarget.h to get lib_lpcboard_ncp_lpcxpresso_4337 to compile. I have not made any other changes.

All other examples i have tried have worked with no issues.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can any of the moderators check to see if they see the same issue?

I have tried it on two separate LPCXpresso4367 (OM13088) boards.

Same issue is present in LPCOpen 3.01.

Could you please check if the debugger setting is set as J-link?

Hi Aldo,

I'm using the I-Jet as my debugger and it is selected in my debugger settings.

Could you verify the the spifi_tst example on the LPCXpresso4367 (OM13088) board, doesn't have to be using IAR.

Sorry for my delay I was running some test an indeed I now get the same error as you do,

I'm taking a look at it, meanwhile could you try following this guide [https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-342077]

so you can make use of the spifi library and continue your tests of the spifi.
