I am working on LPC1768, Interfaced with CS5463.

Getting Clock and MOSI pulses of 3.3V even making it open drain, As of my knowledge CS5463 needs Pulses having 4.8V for High Logic, Alias I am getting to 3.3V only That is why my SPI is malfunctioning, Readings are not stable and even not precised..

So how can i get upto 5V pulses from SPI pins.

Regards Nisarg.

Hi, Nisarg,

I copy part of the data sheet of CS5463, from the description, the VA+ is 5V, but the VD+ can be from 3.3V to 5V, I suggest you connect 3.3V power supply to VD+ pin, in this way, all digital logic will be 3.3V, it is easy for the the LPC1768 to interface with.

If you do want to connect VD+ to 5V power supply, I suppose that a transceiver chip is required, one side is 5V, another side is 3.3V.

Hope it can help you

BR

XiangJun Rong
