LPC Getting Locked out randomly

LPC Evaluation Board 1549 gets locked out (Error Message : No access to the device) randomly while debugging, and needs to be resetted by pressing ISP boot switches to UART boot mode.

IDE am using is LPCXpresso v8.2.2.

Controller - LPC 1549 Evaluation Board (OM13056). This is happening for both units with us.

Is there anything we are missing? we are going for Custom Board Production.

Please let us know the root cause as early as possible, so that we can sort out the issue.

Hi ATHMESH NANDAKUMAR,

There are some reasons in which the code in the MCU prevents any further debug access or connections. some cases are, enables a watchdog timer, Put the MCU into a very low power, sets the clocks incorrectly, etc. if you are doing something like this, are couples of possibles ways to try to recover. For more details please refer the FAQ:Regaining debug access to target MCU

Tell me if you can solve it, and if you still having problems please give more details about what kind of code you are running, and what are the exact steps that you are followed to prove it.

Thank you Mr Miguel,

The problem we found out was there was the usb connection gets loose while acciedntaally touching the cable. So, the sudden loose connection in between the debugging process might have caused the problem.

Hope it is one of the reason for getting error launch sequence, will keep your points in mind in futurre.
